Due to poor management by my boss, I was laid off from my job working for an adult family home. To make matters worse, I have had a health scare and was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy. Due to all these circumstances our family fell behind on our mortgage payments and utilities. We have received letters informing us our utilities will be shut off soon, and within three weeks it may not matter, we will be homeless. We are a modest family, with a modest home. We don't have much, and we don't need a lot. We are just hoping, by the grace of God, to keep a roof over our heads and that of our 2 children.
