One of the better sites for online fundraising we’ve come across is www.ifundy.com. It’s similar to
other online fundraising websites but with a broader reach in terms of fundraising possibilities and
more fun. The basic idea is simple. You create a fundraiser online for your cause or organization; share
the link to that fundraiser through various social media and other methods; people share donate to your
cause online. Participation on iFundy, earns both fundraiser creators and donators points. Accumulating
points earns you badges and/or trophies. With these awards, earn additional bonus cash for the cause
of your choice. Your iFundy profile will show your status and points accumulated to other users, if you
want. The whole process is fun and easy.
As mentioned, one of our favorite features of iFundy is its achievement award system. Earn iPoints by
signing up, creating fundraising, contributing to other causes, liking the site on Facebook, and sharing
your fundraiser on social media. You also earn points when someone contributes to your cause, and
then again when you reach your goal.

If it was found by US Armed Forces Veterans, then I don’t see any reason why I wouldn’t give it a shot. But aside from noble intentions, I really like the achievement award system and although I’m not too sure if the achievements are given to the donors as well, but if it did, it could add a little fun to the whole crowdfunding process. It’s very different, but in a good way.
