Please help support my best friend who is a single mom of two beautiful girls. She desperately needs to move out of her current apartment because she is not safe there. Please help us raise money for first and last month's rent of a new place, as well as groceries, and if possible, a used car.

My best friend is a wonderful person who has had bad luck all of her life. Her dad left when she was 3 and her mom was unable to take care of her when she was 12. Since she left her home at the age of 12, she has done everything she can to survive. The father of her children left while she was pregnant with her second child, and she has continued to struggle since. She does not receive child support from the children's father and has been finding it difficult to make ends meet. She desperately needs to move out of her current subsidized housing complex because it is not safe for her there (there are many reasons it is unsafe, including someone who was stalking her in the summer, as well as constant violence between adults, children and adults/children in the complex).

I'm aiming high, but if we could raise money for a used car, it would make her life so much easier. Doing groceries in the winter with two girls on the bus is really difficult. If we can get her a used car for $1000, the girls could join swimming lessons and martial arts at the local YMCA.
